PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet pair which is advantageous for engaging a shielding member for shielding/opening a window or a space in a house, and to provide a shielding structure using the magnet pair, which keeps the magnet pair out of the way when the shielding member is opened. SOLUTION: The magnet pair is formed of: a first member A consisting of a rod body 1 made of a magnetic body, and a cylinder for storing the rod body 1 therein; and a second member consisting of an attractive body 3 made of a magnet for attracting the rod body 1, and a restraining member 4 for restraining the rod body 1 attracted to the attractive body 3 from moving in a direction crossing an attracting direction. The shielding structure has a frame body D consisting of a head 11, a sill 12, and jambs 13, and a window curtain 14 for shielding or opening a space inside the frame body D. Then the first member A of the magnet pair is arranged in the sill, and the second member B of the magnet pair is arranged in a lower end member 14a of the window curtain 14.
