PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image forming device with a simple constitution capable of certainly detecting existence of a sheet. SOLUTION: The sheet S is floated up by blowing air from an air blowing port 33a of an air blowing part 30 toward a side of the sheets S stacked on a tray and the floated up sheet S is sucked by a suction conveying part 50A and is conveyed. Further, a sheet existence detection part 70A for detecting the existence of the sheets S stacked on the tray has a sensor flag 72 abutted on an upper surface of the sheets S stacked on the tray and turned; and a sensor 65 turned ON/OFF according to the turning of the sensor flag 72. An abutment part 72A of the sensor flag 72, abutted on the sheet S, can be projected to a lower side more than a lower end of the air blowing port 33a of the air blowing part 30.
