PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide device capable of easily performing the changing work by increasing a degree of freedom of installation position of a guide roller. SOLUTION: In the guide device having a guide roller for taking a material to be rolled in/out of a rolling mill, the guide roller is constituted of a roller unit for integrally assembling a roller member to be housed and arranged in a housing part provided on a body of the guide device, and a roller shaft for rotatably supporting the roller member to each other in advance. A roller holding unit mechanism constituted for attaching/detaching the roller unit to/from the body of the guide device in one operation is integrally assembled to the roller unit in advance.
