PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern forming method and a droplet discharging device capable of avoiding positional deviation of a discharged droplet and thermal damage of a substrate and improving film thickness uniformity of a pattern made from droplets, and to provide a liquid crystal display device having liquid crystal discharged by the droplet discharging device. SOLUTION: An infrared ray heater 41 is formed so as to be extended from a region of a discharging head 40 to the opposite side of a sub scanning direction (Y-arrow direction) seeing from a main scanning direction (anti X-arrow direction) and is disposed in the main scanning direction of the discharging head 40 when viewed from the sub scanning direction. Accordingly, when the discharging head 40 forms a second scanning region SA2, the boundary region JA between the second scanning region SA2 and a first liquid film LF1 which is precedingly formed adjacently to the second scanning region SA2 is locally heated before the discharging head 40 is heated.
