PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneader having simple structure and handling, and inexpensively manufacturable in a small size. SOLUTION: This kneader is provided with a vessel rotary part 2, a rotary driving part 3 transmitting a rotary force to the vessel rotary part 2 and a hoisting driving part 4, the elevation driving part 4 hoisting a blade support arm 26, a vessel holding part 6 holding the vessel, and a hoisting blade 30 detachably mounted at the end part of the blade support arm 26 and having a blade 30b inserted into the vessel at the lower end part of a blade shaft 30a. The vessel 31 is covered with a lid 32, and a small hole is drilled at the center of the lid. The blade shaft 30a of the hoisting blade 30 is inserted through the small hole, and the blade 30b of the hoisting blade 30 is disposed in the vessel 31. The vessel 31 is rotated by the rotation of the vessel holding part 6 of the vessel rotary part 2, and the hoisting blade 30 vertically moves by elevation movement of the blade support arm 26.
