摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of appropriately imaging a target substance using chemical shift in a simple operation, and an imaging condition setting method in the magnetic resonance imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: This magnetic resonance imaging apparatus has a chemical shift data storage section 45 storing chemical shift data, a first frequency regulation section 53 conforming a center frequency of a first excitation pulse to a resonance frequency of a first substance, a first imaging section generating an image highlighting the first substance by executing a chemical shift imaging scan using the first excitation pulse, a second frequency regulation section 54 automatically conforming the center frequency of the second excitation pulse to a prescribed resonance frequency of a second substance based on the chemical shift data, and a second imaging section generating an image highlighting the second substance by executing the chemical shift imaging scan using the second excitation pulse.
