A functional composite material with good curative effect can be made of 66-96wt% tourmaline superfines and/or crystal infrared material superfines, 0.01-30wt% media reinforcing material and 1-5wt% embedding agent, and one or more soft solid substrate material or adhesive may be further incorporated into the powder of the composite to obtain a composite in form of soft or hard solid. The composite material can be produced into various passive medical apparatuses to effectively cure various non-infectious and non-nutritional diseases by treating at sensitive spots of the body surface instead of acupuncture, medication and active mechanotherapy, so it can be applied for health care, therapy and healing of people.
