A construction method using drain boards for draining underground water at engineering works is provided to secure sufficient drainage capacity, to improve the fluidity of drainage and to utilize the upper part of a drainage layer as a road. A construction method using drain boards for draining underground water at engineering works comprises the steps of providing drain boards(10) for public works, forming a broken gravel layer(C) on the foundation ground of an area utilized as a road, putting non-woven fabrics(16) having the appointed thickness and tensile strength on the upper part of the broken gravel layer and putting drain boards for public works on the upper part, and finishing the edges of the drain boards with finish materials, and then placing concrete mortar on the upper part of the drain boards for public works to the appointed thickness. |
