ULTRA-HYDROPHILIC PHOTO-CATALYST THIN-FILMS FOR ELECTRO-CHROMIC MIRROR (ECM) OF AUTOMOBILES AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHODS

An ultra-hydrophilic photo-catalyst thin-film and a method for preparing the same are provided to prevent raindrops from being formed on a surface of an electro-chromic mirror of a vehicle, thereby stably securing the visibility of a driver. An ultra-hydrophilic photo-catalyst thin-film is formed on a surface of a base material. The ultra-hydrophilic photo-catalyst thin-film is prepared by alternatively depositing a single thin film of titan dioxide and a composite multi-layer type thin film having at least two kinds of thin films including a titan dioxide thin film. The base material is an electro-chromic mirror for a vehicle. The titan dioxide thin film has a thickness of 10-2000 nm.
