ARTIFICIAL ORGAN TO PROMOTE DIFFERENTIATION OF CELLS AND CONTROL THEIR INFLAMMATION

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial organ with excellent biocompatibility and healing power that causes no inflammation or fibrogenesis of host cells/tissues but promotes their differentiation.

SOLUTION: The artificial organ is a fibrous structure of which the one or both of outer and inner surfaces are covered with polysaccharide sulfide, especially hyaluronic acid sulfide. This artificial organ should preferably have the shape of a tube or sheet with peameability or porosity degree of 0-50 ml/(cm2×min) (120 mmHg, 37°C).
