<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent knocking and degradation in thermal efficiency of a control device of an internal combustion engine and a hybrid vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A gasoline injector 35 for jetting a gasoline (hydrocarbon fuel) is installed at an intake port 17. A hydrogen injector 36 for jetting a hydrogen gas is installed at an intake port 17. An intake variable valve train (VVT) 2 capable of controlling an intake valve 19 to an optimum opening/closing timing according to the operating conditions is used as the valve mechanism of the engine 11. When the injection of hydrogen gas by a hydrogen injector 36 is stopped, an ECU 45 changes (advances angle) the ignition timing according to the gasoline.
