<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle theft detecting device capable of eliminating a particular operation to start and end the detection of a theft. <P>SOLUTION: A detection timing control means 111 works by a position detection processing means 112 which detects the position of a vehicle concerned at preset repetitive timing during a period from the turning-on of an ignition key to its turning-off. The position detection processing means 112 conducts position detection processing on the basis of the signal given by the detection timing control means 111, and a theft detecting means 113 detects a theft state on the basis of the comparison of a vehicle position when the ignition key is turned off with the current vehicle position. Since the start operation of the theft causes the turning-off of the ignition key and the end operation of the theft detection causes the turning-off, a particular operation is not required to start and end the detection of the theft. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
