<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key cylinder having a simplified structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the key cylinder 10, a stopper plate 34 is press-fitted into a mounting hole 32 of a rotor 28, engaged with a body 12, and inserted into an engaging groove 54 of a second sleeve 52. When the rotor 28 is rotated by insertion of an authentic key, a first sleeve 44 is not rotated but the second sleeve 52 is rotated by the intermediary of the stopper plate 34. When the rotor 28 is rotated by insertion of a fraudulent key, the first sleeve 44 is rotated and the second sleeve 52 is slid backward by a slide bar 50, by which the stopper plate 34 is disengaged from the engaging groove 54 and the second sleeve 52 is not rotated. The stopper plate 34 has the function of enabling the locking of the movement of the rotor 28, and the function of enabling the second sleeve 52 to rotate by the rotation of the rotor 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
