<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine allowing a player to feel interest in the state of variation in a variable display device. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine has the variable display device composed of an image display device. In the game machine, as an image 40 displaying a battle plane approaches a door composed of a center symbol 5b (Fig. 7(c)), the door opens and a new symbol 5b appears in the rear (Fig. 7(d)).
