PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Web server authentication system capable of performing Web access point authentication(WAPA). SOLUTION: This Web server authentication system includes: a server authentication system incorporated in a Web server; a client terminal; and an authentication information registration server for storing authentication information. The Web server includes: a browsing request receiving means for receiving a browsing request and a server authentication request from the client terminal; an authentication information inquiry means for making inquiry about the authentication information of the Web server to the authentication information registration server; an authentication information receiving means for receiving the authentication information as the result of inquiry; an authentication information adding means for adding the authentication information to a Web content; and a Web content transmitting means for transmitting the Web content to the client terminal.
