PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stepstool for up-and-down exercise which has wide height-adjustable range and nonetheless does not require large storage space in nonuse and can suppress the loss of a component or the like concerning height adjustment. SOLUTION: The stepstool 10 for up-and-down exercise includes: a stool body 11 having height compensation leg attachment parts 15 in the four corners of a bottom part; and a prescribed number of height compensation legs which are fitted to the height compensation attachment parts 15 in a state where only one leg or not less than two legs are piled. Height compensation leg holding parts 19 for holding remaining height compensation legs are arranged in the bottom part of the stool body 11 in a state where a prescribed number of height compensation legs are attached to the height compensation leg attachment parts 15.
