PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a log data collecting system which efficiently collects log data of required mobile stations in parallel without obstructing the ordinary works, utilizing a position information collecting system. SOLUTION: The log data collecting system has a base station which collects log data stored in required mobile stations among a plurality of mobile stations, utilizing a position information collecting system including the base station and the plurality of mobile stations. In the base station the number of time slots allotted for collecting position information of each mobile station in a frame constitution and the number of time slots allotted for collecting position information of the required mobile stations are determined, based on the availability information of the plurality of mobile stations. Upon receipt of a log data send request from the base station, the mobile station sends the log data to the base station at the timing of an allotted log data time slot. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
