PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element without any emission blurring and crosstalk while maintaining carrier injection properties by laminating a hole implantation layer having high specific resistance and that having low specific resistance, and to provide a manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent element. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence element comprises: a first carrier injection layer film-formed on an insulating film for separating narrow electrodes, and a second carrier injection layer in contact with the first carrier injection layer. The specific resistance of the second carrier injection layer is smaller than that of the first carrier injection layer, and the area of the obtained light emitting region is not more than the area of the narrow electrode.
