PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip shaped in simple construction for fixing a mounting member to a mounted member in close contact with high holding force and allowing extremely easy mounting work. SOLUTION: A first mounting hole 24 of the mounting member 23 is laid on the upper side of a second mounting hole 22 of the mounted member 21. A retaining head 2 of the clip 1 is fitted into the mutually laid mounting holes 22, 24 through the mounting member 23, and a base 3 of the clip 1 is made to abut on the mounting member 23. Subsequently, after giving 90°rotation to the base 3 of the clip 1 in the state of being pushed against the mounting member 23, a shaft 4 is made to slide and abut on the edges of the mounting holes 22, 24 at the side of a fit-in member 6. Then, the fit-in member 6 is fitted and locked into a gap 31 in each of the mounting holes 22, 24, whereby the mounted member 21 and the mounting member 23 are held between the end face of the retaining head 2 at the side of the base 3 and the end face of the base 3 at the side of the retaining head 2 and fixed thereto in close contact.
