PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constant velocity universal joint having improved assembling efficiency by eliminating the need for being fastened with a bolt member and complicated phase focusing. SOLUTION: A vehicle mounting flange 31 has a cylinder 33 externally fitted to an outer ring 22. An axial groove 50 is formed on the inner diameter face 48 of the cylinder 33, and an axial groove 52 is formed on the outer diameter face 51 of the outer ring 22. To a fitting hole 53 formed between the axial groove 50 of the cylinder 33 and the axial groove 52 of the outer ring 22 opposed thereto, a pin member 32 is fitted for transmitting torque between the vehicle mounting flange 31 and the outer ring 22.
