PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device having high moment rigidity while avoiding the degradation of bearing performance resulting from assembling accuracy, if possible. SOLUTION: A bearing member 9 has a housing part 10, and a first sleeve part 11 and a second sleeve part 12 arranged on the inner periphery of the housing part 10. On an inner peripheral face 11a of the first sleeve part 11 out of them, a plurality of radial bearing surfaces A, B are provided in axially spaced relation. The radial bearing surfaces A, B have hydrodynamic pressure generating parts consisting of a plurality of hydrodynamic pressure grooves A1, B1 arranged in a herringbone shape, respectively. The first sleeve part 11 in this construction is arranged relatively closer to the axial gravity position of a rotor 2 having a shaft member 6, than the second sleeve part 12.
