NONIONIC AND WATER-DISPERSIBLE PARTICLES WITH BIOLOGICAL MATERIAL IMMOBILIZING FUNCTIONALITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide water-dispersible particles which exclude nonspecific interaction and immobilizing biological materials through a terminal functional group in the particles dispersing in water. SOLUTION: The water-dispersible particles are obtained by coating particles with a dispersing agent composed of a compound having an oligoethylene glycol backbone and a carboxylic acid group on one terminal and a functional group immobilizing the biological material on the other terminal, and the particles have -15 to 15 mV ofζ-potential.
