PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winch driving device capable of realizing the energy regenerative function and being made compact. SOLUTION: A hydraulic motor 27 is fixed to a base part 10a of a winch 10. A reduction gear 28 is connected to an output shaft of the hydraulic motor 27. A drum 23 is fixed to an output part 28a of the reduction gear 28. A generator 26 is fixed to the base part 10a, and an input shaft 26a of the generator 26 is connected to the output part 28a of the reduction gear 28. When lowering the winch 10, the generator 26 is driven via the reduction gear 28 by rotation of the drum 23, and potential energy is regenerated into electric energy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
