PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductor roll capable of suppressing the occurrence of an electric corrosion mark, an arc spot and the plating deposition on the surface of the roll, having excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance and capable of reducing the power consumption and providing a high quality and low cost product. SOLUTION: The conductor roll has a Ni alloy coating film having 50μm to 10 mm thickness and a nitride layer having hardness Hv of≥480 on the surface of the alloy coating film. It is preferable that one of a copper, silver, gold and platinum or their alloys are applied on the Ni alloy coating film as a substrate treatment and a ceramics of a vitreous layer is applied on both end parts, a side surface and an axial part of a roll drum part.
