PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pigment, solving such problems as much energy consumption as a problem in conventional kneaders, pigment grade such as gloss and coloring power, micronizing level limit and interlot contamination. SOLUTION: The method for producing the fine organic pigment comprises kneading a mixture of an organic pigment, a water-soluble inorganic salt and a water-miscible organic solvent with a planetary-type mixer 1 with multiple blades 4 subject to planetary motion.
