The strip (2) has several sockets (14), which are arranged in a row and accessible from outside and integrated in a support casing (16) extending in a longitudinal direction (12). A support unit is adapted for supporting an electronic device (6) e.g. television, and attached to the casing. A cable duct is provided for insertion of a cable e.g. loudspeaker cable, for the device, extends in the direction and is integrated into the casing. The duct is accessible from the outside, so that the cable is insertable into the duct.
