The invention relates to growing monocrystals of noble metal or salt thereof and can be used in making novel nano-materials for use in micro-and optoelectronics, medicine. Said monocrystals are obtained chemical reduction of noble metal ions from aqueous solution of proper compound with use of anion polyelectrolyte as reducer. The process of crystals synthesis is carried out at the concentration of metals ions of 0.1-5 mg-ion/dm3 and concentration of polyelectrolyte of 5-350 mg/dm3 , it may be accelerated by increasing temperature in the range of 20-60 oC and/or illumination to 500-3000 lk.
