<p>A terminal for providing a guarantee of QoS(Quality of Service) between heterogeneous wireless networks using the switching function of a communication protocol stack is provided to access a wireless network with great QoS among more than two heterogeneous wireless networks and use the network inexpensively at high speed by installing a logical switching control layer which executes logical switching for an upper protocol layer and more than two lower protocol layers on the protocol stacks corresponding to more than two heterogeneous wireless communication functions. A terminal(100) having more than two heterogeneous wireless communication functions comprises a switching part(180), a QoS confirmation part(160), a network confirmation part(165), a network switchover part(170), and a protocol control part(175). The switching part(180) executes logical switching for an upper protocol layer and the lower protocol layers corresponding to more than two heterogeneous wireless networks on the protocol stacks corresponding to more than two heterogeneous wireless communication functions. The QoS confirmation part(160) confirms whether QoS for the first wireless network, connected among more than two heterogeneous wireless networks at present, gets deteriorated. The network confirmation part(165) confirms the second wireless network, which the terminal(100) will access, among one or more communication networks, which the terminal can access, or QoS for the second wireless network. The network switchover part(170) changes over from a communication connection for the first wireless network to a communication connection for the second wireless network through a logical switching control layer. The protocol control part(175) selects and controls a communication protocol to confirm the QoS among at least two heterogeneous wireless networks or to change wireless networks.</p> |
