<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum for electric use, which can maintain practically sufficient characteristics even though a content of zinc exceeds a conventional target management level and can be recycled; an electric wire using the same; and a method for recycling an aluminum wire. <P>SOLUTION: The aluminum for the electric use has a component ratio comprising 0.10 mass% or less Si, 0.25 mass% or less Fe, 0.005 mass% or less Cu, 0.005 mass% or less Mn, 0.005 mass% or less in total of Ti and V, 0.01 to 0.05 mass% Zn, and the balance aluminum with unavoidable impurities. A steel-cored aluminum stranded wire 10 is manufactured by the steps of: preparing hard aluminum base wires 5a and 5b by using the aluminum for electric use; preparing a steel core part 3 by stranding 6 galvanized steel wires 1b having a circular cross-section around a similar galvanized steel wire 1a; and stranding 10 hard aluminum base wires 5a having a circular cross-section around the steel core part 3, and further stranding 16 similar hard aluminum base wires 5b around the hard aluminum base wires 5a to form an aluminum part 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
