PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiving set which is capable of avoiding its interference with other radio communication systems or a deterioration in characteristics due to interference by the other radio communication systems when the other radio communication systems, which utilize the same frequency band, are present. SOLUTION: A storage unit 103 stores specific position information that specifies a geographic position, and frequency band information Ifb in which the geographic position specified by the specific position information is correlated with the center frequency of a frequency band used by a weather radar. A control unit 101 acquires the center frequency used by a weather radar resting on the basis of installation location information Iloc containing one of the specific position information, and the frequency band information Ifb, and informs a radio communication unit 102 of the acquired center frequency.
