PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-mounted current fuse capable of improving productivity, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: This surface-mounted current fuse includes: a first base 11 formed of a resin; a second base 12 mounted on the upper surface of the first base 11 and formed of a resin; a current fuse body part 13 composed of the first base 11 and the second base 12; a pair of external electrodes 14 arranged at both ends of the current fuse body part 13; and an element part 15 connected to the pair of external electrodes 14 and arranged on the upper surface of the first base 11 and the lower surface of the second base 12; and is structured such that recessed parts 16 are respectively formed on the upper surface of the first base 11 and the lower surface of the second base 12; a space part 17 is formed by facing the recessed parts 16 to each other; and the element part 15 is arranged in the space part 17.
