PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-halogen coaxial cable excelling in an electric characteristic and a mechanical characteristic without containing a fluorine resin; and to provide a multicore cable using it. SOLUTION: In this non-halogen coaxial cable, the circumference of an internal conductor 1 formed by intertwining tin-plated soft copper wires (or tin-plated copper alloy wires) with one another is coated with a polymer containing, as a main constituent, a PPE resin (or PPO) as an insulator 2; a shield layer 3 formed by spirally winding a tin-plated soft copper wire (or a tin-plated copper alloy wire) is arranged in the circumference of the insulator 2; and a jacket layer 4 is arranged in the circumference of the shield layer 3.
