PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device capable of fixing and main and sub shafts for guiding an optical pickup unit to a traverse chassis without any play. SOLUTION: This device includes locking holding parts disposed in a traverse chassis to lock and hold main and sub shafts not to rotate. Each locking holding part is provided with a first holding part having a first holding hole for holding one end of the main shaft or the sub shaft and a pull-out preventing pawl part elastically deformed to regulate the movement of the main shaft or the sub shaft, and a second holding part having a second holding hole for holding the other end of the main shaft or the sub shaft, and a regulation part for regulating the movement of the other end of the main shaft or the sub shaft. Each pull-out preventing pawl is provided with a locking part capable of locking the one end of the main shaft or the sub shaft of a holding position in a locking position, and a slope part for moving the locking part from the locking position to a retreating position by elastic deformation.
