PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin, lightweight, bright, full-color electronic display device of low power consumption and a manufacturing method therefor and a display system. SOLUTION: A display medium with particulates dispersed therein is filled into cells provided between two substrates at least one of which is transparent, and an accumulation state and a dispersion state of the particulates are generated by changing a distribution state of the particulates in the cell with an electric field to change the optical transmissivity of the cell.
