PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic microchip that allows a sample to be observed easily, and to provide a method of manufacturing the plastic microchip by forming a clear, fine lattice pattern. SOLUTION: The plastic microchip 10a comprises: a charging chamber 110 that contains a translucent upper substrate 100 and a lower substrate 200 that are bonded vertically and transmit light and is formed between the upper and lower substrates 100, 200; and a sample slot 120 and an exhausting port 130 connected to one side and the other of the charging chamber 110. A fine lattice pattern 210 for counting the number of microparticles in the sample of the charging chamber 110 is formed on the upper surface of the lower substrate 200. In the plastic microchip 10a, the fine lattice pattern 210 formed on the upper surface of the lower substrate 200 is formed in an intaglio structure, where a fine line in a groove structure is arranged in a lattice on the upper surface of the lower substrate 200.
