PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire excellent in initial adhesion and excellent in adhesion durability, or the adhesion between bead wires and a coating rubber, even after the suffering of severe environmental stresses. SOLUTION: This pneumatic tire is the one formed by coating the bead wires with the coating rubber member. The coating rubber member incorporates, based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component, 0.1-5.0 parts by mass of an ester compound between an m-positioned diol type aromatic compound, for example, resorcinol and an organic acid, and 1.0-10.0 parts by mass of sulfur.
