PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip-like material meandering control device capable of preventing any meandering when a passing material is conveyed via a turning roll in a strip-like material continuous treatment device for continuously passing the strip-like material. SOLUTION: In the strip-like material meandering control device of the strip-like material continuous treatment device, a turning roll and a stand for supporting the turning roll are arranged on a strip-like material turning unit, and a rocking function and a returning function are arranged around a center of the turning roll in the axial direction. The steering characteristic is changed by the rocking function and the returning function by the combination of a spring and a damper, or by a liner of a viscoelastic material.
