PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately catch only abnormal sounds generated from a diseased organ in the body and provide them to an auscultator by executing various kinds of electronic processings. SOLUTION: This multifunctional electronic stethoscope is so formed that a chest piece part is attached with a capacitor microphone, a preamplifier, a band pass filter, a digital equalizer, a rear amplifier, and earphones in this order and two batteries of 1.5 V are connected as the power supply. The internal sounds caught by the chest piece part are input in the band pass filter via the preamplifier, power supply noise and other noises are removed by the band pass filter, only sounds with targeting waveforms of cycle sounds are taken out and input into the digital equalizer. The digital equalizer freely intensifies acoustic waves of specified frequency in the targeting cycle sounds, and inputs them to the rear amplifier so that the intensified acoustic waves reach the ears of the auscultator through the earphones.
