A production method of an acetamidopyrrolidine derivative or a salt thereof comprising the reaction steps represented by the following formula: wherein R¹ represents a hydrogen atom or a C₁-C₆ alkyl group; R¹³, R¹⁴, R¹⁵ and R¹⁶ each represent independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a C₁-C₆ alkyl group, a C₁-C₆ alkoxy group, a hydroxyl group, a C₁-C₆ haloalkyl group or a C₁-C₆ haloalkoxy group; and R²¹ represents an ester-type protecting group.
