MAMMOGRAPHY SYSTEM

摘要

A mammography system in which the peripheral portion of the mammo-area (Ma) in the chest of a subject (M) abuts against a chest abutting box (3) during photography of RI distribution image at the mammo-area (Ma) of the subject (M), and since body motion incident to breathing of the subject (M) moves from the chest side to the back side, movement of the mammo-area (Ma) of the subject (M) incident to breathing of the subject (M) can be suppressed with no strain. Furthermore, since photography of the RI distribution image is performed in a seated posture where the subject (M) is sitting on a sitting portion (2), the system becomes compact as compared with a case where photography of the RI distribution image is performed in a sleeping posture where the subject (M) is lying on one's back or on one's side on a top plate, and thereby it can be installed even in a limited space.
