Radiofrequency-rechargeable emergency battery unit, which is attached in a removable way to mobile telephony terminals and permits them to have an additional power supply source for use in the event of the battery becoming completely discharged, being provided for this purpose with a radiofrequency pickup coil (9) that captures the energy of the signals transmitted and received, an electronic circuit (12) for adapting said energy to the charging conditions of an emergency battery (13), as well as with means for its attachment to the mobile telephone (10). Therefore, inasmuch as the radiofrequency-rechargeable emergency battery unit is attached to the telephone, the presence of the battery and its recharging are assured, making it available for use when so required. It is also provided with a connector for supplying power to the actual telephone (6) and with terminals (5) for either a standard battery or a rechargeable battery.
