The present invention relates to use of the extract of Chrysanthemum zawadskiithat is extracted using water, alcohol or a mixture thereof. Particularly, the extract of Chrysanthemum zawadskii can be used for an ant i- hangover agent because it can reduce alcohol density and acetaldehyde density in blood by promoting in vivo alcohol metabolism through improving activities of alcohol dehydrogenase (ADH) and acetaldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH), and present radical removal ability. The extract of Chrysanthemum zawadskii of the present invention can be used as an anti -hangover agent and health food for removing hangover because it can get rid of hangover more efficiently than hangover removing beverages in the market.
