The proposed method for determining the temperature range for disordered phase in ferroelectric material consists in determining the dependence of thewidth of the absorption energy band of optical radiation on temperature, presenting the width of the energy absorption band as sum of temperature, structural, and dynamic components, determining the values of the said components at a specified temperature, determining the temperature that corresponds to the displacement of the boundary of the absorption band of long-wavelength optical radiation, and using the obtained data for determining the temperature range for disordered phase in the material.
