A method for accepting an on-line application by using a shortcut icon and a system thereof are provided to prevent a traffic increase of an application accepting server on the final one-line application acceptance day. A method for accepting an on-line application by using a shortcut icon includes a step of completing the on-line application by connecting an application accepting server by a personal computer and keeping the on-line application temporarily at the application accepting server when selecting an acceptance method by using the shortcut ion(S210); a step of transferring a shortcut icon generating requirement message to a shortcut icon generating server to generate the shortcut icon for sending the on-line application(S220,S230); a step of accepting the on-line application when requiring the on-line application by operating the shortcut icon by a mobile communication terminal receiving the shortcut icon(S240,S250); and a step of sending an acceptance completion message to the mobile communication terminal when finishing sending the on-line application(S260,S270). A system for accepting the on-line application has the shortcut icon generating server. The shortcut icon generating server generates the shortcut icon, sends the shortcut icon to the mobile communication terminal and sends the on-line application.
