<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-term stabilization method for γ-aminobutyric acid falling in γ-aminobutyric acid-containing substance. <P>SOLUTION: The long-term stabilization method for γ-aminobutyric acid falling in γ-aminobutyric acid-containing substance comprises adding carbohydrate to the γ-aminobutyric acid-containing substance so as to exert excellent effect on long-term stabilization of the γ-aminobutyric acid to enable long storage of the γ-aminobutyric acid in the γ-aminobutyric acid-containing substance.
