PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste toner tank wherein a filter is not apt to get clogged, resulting in a small rise in the internal pressure in a tank main part, and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The waste toner tank 74 which stores a toner discharged through a pump together with air, includes the tank main part 741 where the toner is accumulated, the filter 742 which is installed covering an opening part of the tank main part 741 to discharge the air sent in the tank main part 741 to outside the tank main part 741, and a pressure reducing means 745 of further reducing the internal pressure in the tank main part 741 with the filter 742 installed.
