PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video image receiver terminal which measures the spare time of a user to recommend programs suited to the user's taste. SOLUTION: The video image receiver terminal 100 connected to a broadcast network 800 and a communication network 900 acquires broadcast programs and program tables and utilizes two reserved programs registered in a view reserving part 107 being an internal constituent element to acquire the spare time of a user. A spare time acquiring part 105 acquires the time section from the end of one program to the start time of the next program as a spare time of the user, while a taste program acquiring part 104 extracts the genre of the two view-reserved programs and keywords of the cast, etc. as user's taste information. Based on the keywords and the user's spare time, the taste program acquiring part 104 retrieves user's taste programs in a program table presented from a program table recorder 103.
