PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover for a fuel oil tank which copes with a danger related to air release, a fuel filling opening cap and a fuel amount gauge on a tank top face and which eliminates troublesome work in filling fuel each time as to a fuel oil tank placed outdoors. SOLUTION: A fuel filling opening cover 11 to be placed on the top face of a tank 1 and an air release cover 13 covering the vertical base part 5a of an air release 5 are provided. A fuel filling opening 11c for exposing a fuel filling opening cap 4 is provided on the cover 11. A fuel filling opening cap 12 able to close, open and lock the opening 11c is provided on the cover 11. The top end of the cover 13 is positioned exactly underneath the inside R 5b of the air release 5. The bottom end of the cover 13 is mounted or fixed on the cover 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
