PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an occupant crash protection device for a vehicle seat capable of suppressing the interference between the waist, belly, and chest of a seat occupant and a door or a door trim. SOLUTION: The occupant crash protection device to protect the seat occupant 1 seated on the vehicle seat at the time of lateral collision is equipped with a hop-out member 5 installed on the seat back 4 side part on the door side and receiving the door 2 while hopping out sideways in the event of lateral collision so as to reduce the interfering amount of the door 2 with the occupant 1.
