PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a layered product with chromatic-color metallic luster, easily obtainable and excellent in processability, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The production method comprises: blending and kneading an ABS resin and a heterocyclic, perynone-based or thioindigo-based chromatic color dye; pelletizing the blended material; preparing a first unjoined resin layer 11 from the pellet by using an extrusion molding machine; placing a metallic film layer 13 formed by metal vapor deposition on the resin layer 11; and further placing a second unjoined resin layer 12 having a metallic luster on the metallic film layer 13 to heat and pressurize. In the heating and pressurization, the first and second unjoined resin layers 11 and 12 are bonded and at the same time, the dye existing in the first resin layer 11 is shifted into the second resin layer 12 to color to such an extent that a color difference valueΔE is changed to≥0.8, thus obtaining the layered product having a chromatic-color metallic luster at a second resin layer side.
